Many people may not be aware that, Sea Turtle populations have experienced massive worldwide declines.

These declines may only be reversed by managing the effects of human interaction. One significant detriment is light pollution.

Light pollution on nesting beaches is detrimental to Sea Turtles because it alters their nighttime behaviors when turtles lay eggs, where they choose nests, and how the hatchings make their way back to the sea, or even are able to find the sea after hatching.
